The Meinl 20 and Meinl 25 share the same bore except the tuning circuits are a little handier on the model 25. also... the 25 has a larger bottom bow and bell than the model 20. I can't begin to tell you which one is better but I prefer the 25 simply because of the larger bell and better tuning slide arrangement.Brown Mule wrote:Is the Meinl Weston on E'bay ending soon tonight a Model 25-------------------interested in making offer
If this is the listing, I think the 'buy it now' is about twice too high.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Used-Meinl-Weston-T ... 1e619b70fa
If you could pick it up for under 2K, it might be a deal. I said 'might'. I've sold better horns for less.

To answer your email AND provide general information to The Board.... I think the horn in questions is a Meinl 20. From my experience... the Meinl 25 had THREE slides on top. Here's a picture of a Meinl 25 next to a Miraphone. Note the 'quicker' bell taper.Brown Mule wrote:Thanks, Dan
