interesting bell on that thing, I have a 3 valve version of that horn (997) I think. My bell doesn't have a wreath and looks a bit bigger. An odd looking little tooter, and oddly rare it seems.

Staring at the pictures. It's cute as a bug. But I cannot see any kind of thumb ring for the Rt Hand... Also, I wonder what, exactly, a shop did for $225 for a "tune up?"

That's kind of a cool looking horn. I have the 3v, upright bell (non detachable) version of this horn. It plays pretty well.

A chem clean, honing one or more valves, unsticking a couple or three slides and maybe solder a brace here and there could run that much. E-mail and ask 'em...
