Interesting. I actually quite like both of these instruments even though they are quite different than what I have elected to own these days.
I'd go for the Getzen.
But...
Very, very few of them were factory made as 4 valve tubas compared to those that are 5 valves. A new leadpipe is what you would need to modify a 5 valve into a 4 valve.
I had a Getzen G-50 (5 valve) years ago. Traded it to Baltimore Brass. They sold it and I lost track of it. I want it back.
