I am a tertiary source, so take it with a grain of salt, BUT... the leadpipe on the 2250 at the last ITEC was notably different from the one in that picture. I'm going off memory but it had a very distinctive shape. It was longer than the picture you've posted and curled up out of the way in a very clever way in order to allow easier access to the first valve slide(placing your hand up between the leadpipe and first valve slide. My understanding was that that they had changed it in response to feedback. I assumed that the design was final, perhaps not. It looked like a pain to produce.. lots of compound bends.

It's moderately possible that the pictured leadpipe is the same as what was at ITEC. I can't get a good sense looking from that angle.

Long answer longer: The design has changed at least once.
