Sure sounds that way -- the weight would be in the right range for a tenor.Bob Kolada wrote:Conn tenor tuba?

FWIW, my 30mm JK 2C, Kanstul 2C, and no name tweener mp (same size, wider rim, bigger shank) -play- fine in the small Eb's I've had over the years (currently a "medium" King Eb, 15" bell) but the sound is much closer to cimbasso than tuba. If I were seriously going for the tiny tweener F sound (which I think rocks!), assuming tweener means between large bass tuba and cimbasso, I would go just a bit bigger. What do you have socked away Joe?bloke wrote:I have a small collection of "tweener"-size (ex: Elliott contrabass trombone size) mouthpieces to try out on it when it is completed.
