Thanks for picking this scab . I missed all of this the first time around and it has reminded me what a " family " in the true sense of the word, that this tuba forum is . The overly sensitive , the antagonist , the peacemaker...jeez , its Aunt Beths birthday party all over again...but I am not clear on wether there is or isnt a part and what tuba do you guys think I should you to cover it...I m thinkin" my King sousy would look good in the back row...

I would think all the original question told was that the poster did not have a good knowledge of the orchestral repertoire. However, he could still be a fine tubist.
At least over this side of the pond, there are many really skilled brass band players who would not have a clue about what works tubas are use in orchestra.
