Anyone picked this one to replicate bloke?

This link doesn’t even point to the most recent version of this auction. I have no idea of the state of this instrument. It even may be of a smaller bore than bloke’s CC helicon, but its architecture is the one with the potential for a CC conversion.

This is not a teaser, as I only found this link within the last half hour.

What about this horn makes it a candidate for a CC conversion, specifically?

The long leadpipe with cylindrical tuning slide.

Oh, yeah! I can see now. I knew the Bloke-o-phone was made from a Buescher BBb for a specific reason but, never having seen a Buescher BBb, I didn't know why. It's pretty obvious after seeing the picture. Lots of straight, cylindrical tubing available for removal!

Isn’t that a matter of how long the upper crooks of the 1st and 2nd valves are? And why do these differ? bloke once told that the basic parts for Buescher tubas and sousaphones were the same until the specific bending of the branches for the given instrument type. So there may have been considerations done for tubas, which come out less obvious on the sousaphones.
