HI-
Today, In the mail, I received a poSt card from Custom Music listing their "Custom Music's Spring/Summer Sale,' and it show the various Perantucci B&S tubas with their list price and their 'On Sale' price (example PT-6 List Price $13,200, ON SALE $10,950; PT-6P List Price: $13,700, ON SALE $11,500--and 6 other horns, and it also states 'Add $500 for Silver Plated.' I'm thinking "Good enough', a sale for folks looking for new horns----BUT, ah hah, the very small fine print at the bottom of the post card READS: 'ABOVE PRICES ARE FOR DEMO HORNS ONLY. NEW HORNS SELL FOR LIST PRICES.' Now nowhere in the picture postcard ad, except in the bottom small print, does it say DEMO sale--it APPEARS to be a Spring/Summer Sale on new B&S Perantucci tubas.....once again, read the fine print and buyer beware....UGH!!!

Methinks that describing any product as used, demo, floor model, or scratch-n-dent is often used to avoid list price constraints imposed on dealers.
