Sheet music from Dos Amigos

Post by capt_tuba »

Does anyone know if sheet music exists for anything from the Sheridan/Pilafian Dos Amigos album. Also any other cool stuff of the nature.

If that exists anywhere, it's with Pat himself.

Send him an email, he' s a nice guy.

If you find out anything, I'd like to know (and I'm sure others would, as well!).

A few years ago, I emailed Mr. Sheridan with the same question (as he does sell sheet music for pieces featured on some of his other albums) and he said that the four of them simply got together, looked at the same lead sheet, and just figured it out from there. He recommended either transcribing their arrangement by ear or just using the same procedure they did to make one of your own (both excellent recommendations). Plenty of lead sheet options exist for most of those tunes if you get stuck or want a second opinion.
