FYI, I bought Bloke's synthetic washers for my King around a year and a half ago. They still look and feel EXACTLY as they did when I purchased them. (I would have gone through three sets of felt washers over this same period.) The tactile "feel", wear, and consistent alignment (no expanding and contracting as they get wet) are all vastly superior to felt pads. Best cost/benefit expenditure I have ever made on my tuba. (Replacing my old metal guides with nylon guides is a close second.)
