Incorporating Brass Quintet

For those of you who are members of brass quintets or other small groups that have incorporated, what form of corporation did you choose and why?

We did it as an LLC. You probably don't want to be a corporation because it adds a lot of red tape, and you can be limited by non-profit status unless you are planning to focus on educational projects.

Jacob's right on. We went with an LLC for mostly legal reasons, though my accountant has stated several times that an s-corp would save us on taxes.
