So, what is better to work its way into a tuba? Organic objects, (such as living critters and sanitary items) which may decay over time, or a man-made object that will never break down in a million years?

This happened to me in the Dillon's showroom. I thought, wow, this 188 is a clunker! Then I spinned it and emptied 2 or 3 styrofoam pellets and tried playing again. Then it was a freakin awesome tuba.

Good advice LJV!
