Citadel Brass Academy in Montclair NJ

I wanted to let the tubenet community in NJ and NY know about a fantastic (and very affordable!) brass program that I am starting this year at the Salvation Army Montclair Citadel. The Citadel Brass Academy will be a week long brass band program where students will perform in ensembles, take classes in musicianship, and also receive private instruction by top performers and educators in their instrument. Instructors include Steve Allen-Euphonium, Charles Baker- trombone, and me - tuba,

As a part of the extensive community outreach that the Salvation Army provides, our goal is to simply to foster a love of music making in young brass students and to provide a wide range of musical experiences and instructional opportunities.

The Citadel Brass Academy will take place from July 18th to the 23rd at the new Salvation Army facility in Montclair NJ. The tuition is $300, that includes all instruction, lunch and materials. Please share this information with any of your students that would be interested. I truly appreciate your help in spreading the word about this great program, and am always available to answer any questions that you have.
