Re: Sousaphone in Cape Cod
My grandad showed this to me today, I found it to be a brilliant idea.

Re: Sousaphone in Cape Cod
It's not that difficult.Very cool, but I have to wonder how one casually walks into a market with a sousaphone.
A few months ago I helped a couple of kids make a recording for their college application. Their dad found that the local Stop & Shop had a suitable meeting room upstairs which could be rented for a very reasonable price. We dragged in an upright bass, bass amp, a trombone, music stands, and a complete drum set all in shopping carts, went to the back of the store, through a doorway and up a freight elevator, and nobody looked twice at us. When we were finished we took it all back out the same way. I don't think anybody even noticed.
