Washing a sousa bell cover

Post by Hank74 »

With my parade season now over, it's time for me to do some cleaning. This includes my sousa bell cover.

I'm thinking I should hand wash it in cold water with Woolite and then line dry it?

Last time, I put in the washing machine and nearly all the design paint came off. Had to be repainted. Not doing that again.

Unless you were marching through smoke or acid rain does it really need washing?
