RM 45 & MW 2141 pics
Just for fun.. a few pics of my newly accquired RM 45 and my Meinl Weston 2141 Eb. The MW is by no means small (17.3" bell, 35 inches tall) which gives you an idea of the size of the so called 4/4 by Rudolf Meinl.

What is that bar that goes from the 5th valve slide down to about the side of the 3rd rotor, running under the linkage?
Maybe it's a pencil or something...I can't tell.
Just curious.

Considering that Rudy Meinl 1st valve d and 1+2 Db are both in tune... That trigger should be the only thing you touch while playing.

Those 2141's are fine horns indeed; the valve angle doesn't quite do it for me and they seem to lean a bit to the player's left.
I'd still like to try one again.
