The Peterson stuff isn't available on Android, which is a shame, but there are plenty of other tuner (gStrings+) and Metronome apps.
I, too, swapped from iPhone to Android and love it. The Wife has an iPhone, and whilst very user friendly, it doesn't do some things I need MY phone to do.

Re: Android tuner and metronome apps
Uh ... just a word of warning. Before you switch from the iPhone to an Android you need to really think about this and seriously TRY an Android. I know you can get a bigger screen with the Android, and the physical phones (e.g., Samsung) are really very nice and impressive, but you may find that the Android is MUCH less useable for you than an iPhone.
I honestly have been very resistant to Apple products for a variety of reasons and when my wife and I got new phones, I selected an Android while she took an iPhone (partly she wanted it for the "iPhone experience" since she is a UI designer and felt she needed to understand all the details of the iPhone UI). I felt the Samsung Android was a better device -- bigger screen, very fast, etc. Worked great when I tried it in the store.
I had it for ONE DAY and took it back and traded it on an iPhone (which given my generally anti-Apple attitude was difficult and shocking). Wrestling with the configuration and odd UI issues was just too much (and I've done a lot of UI design myself and software design/implementation for over 25 years). Alas, from my perspective, The Android OS and UI show all the signs of an "open source" approach with not enough user orientation and testing. I'm sure it will be improved over time, but I found it just too frustrating to mess with. I don't regret abandoning it, but will keep an eye on it for the future. However, if you are already an iPhone user, the Android may end up being quite a shock once you really start to use it.
I do NOT intend this to be an Android-bashing posting. My daughter has an Android and is (mostly) happy with it (and craps on our iPhones all the time
). Another of our kids has a Windows phone (happy with it), and a third sticks with the Blackberry since for him that's the best. So we've seen 'em all. But don't make the move without a serious trial period -- in which you go through the various configurations (email, web, etc.) that you will need to. I do wish the iPhone screen was as large as the Android Samsung I had for a day, but it turns out not to really be an issue for me.
This is mostly personal choice and expectations. Just be sure before you make the leap.

I use gStrings on my Android phone for a tuner. Works great and it's Free. Well has a free version.

Cleartune and Mobile Metronome. I forked over the money for the paid-versions, which was well worth the few bucks to get quality apps that I use constantly everyday.
