Mouthpiece query

Post by tclements »

The mouthpiece that came with my Willson 3050 is a Willson WT2. Does anyone have ANY idea what the heck this is? Thanks.

Late reply:

Strange, the one that came with my 3100 RZ-4 BBb was a WT-1 ... I wonder why this difference...

I prefer my Tilz WH-B2 over the Willson piece.

I'm wondering if your mouthpieces were made by Tilz for Willson? Might want to compare the cup IDs of your mouthpieces with their published dimensions:

I saw your query about the Willson mouthpiece. Made me curious. I recognize
most of the popular makes, but did not know anything about the Willson, so
I tried to do a quick search for them. Went to a bunch of the mouthpiece
suppliers, and could find no reference to the brand or type. Is the Willson
mouthpiece an "inhouse" deal, kind of the way the Dennis Wick, started out
for Steven Mead, and meant solely for their instruments. Would be interested in seeing any information that you have
on it, or them.
