Carnival of Venice

Post by Primusbot05 »

Hey gang, just curious to see if anyone knows where I could find a piano accompaniment to CoV that is not the typical Arban one? I believe, but could be wrong, that Yasuhide Ito did a new accompaniment for the Arban solo version. Anyone know where I could find it so as to buy it?

Many thanks!

I have no idea if it is available or not but Bob McChesney's arrangement is, by far, my favorite arrangement of this piece. I really like the piano accompaniment, it all comes together nicely. Plus he is a wonderful player.

I found one that looks like it's out of print now, (was FBA grade 7 a decade ago though), but it's up a 5th from Arban's version. Otherwise identical. PM me if you want details and I'll look through my old folders later today. (They're at work in a box.)
