Would you pick what's behind door #1...
or what's behind door #2 ?

But then again... One is designed to take You from A to B (place, not notes). The other is providing You with the means to contribute to an ART form.

what did the vette sell for in 67?
I just used an inflation calculator and a $5000 car from 67 would be equal to $32000 now.

and you can pick up decent condition late model vettes for under $10,000 now. Not far from the price of one of those fancy schmancy euphs....

Not just American. I bought this 2 year old Alpine in 1969 for $1100. Sold it to a friend in 1972 for $600. It is conservatively worth $40,000 today.
