Hello all,
Selling my Miraphone 1291 CC 5v. 4-5 years old, original owner hand selected from WWBW and used it for a masters program. I purchased the tuba from the original owner and have played in university ensembles with it.

Academy Music performed a "players conditioning" and the tuba has not been played since. Servicing includes chem clean, some dent work and a general checkup. Sale includes Miraphone soft case and aftermarket hard shell case with wheels.

Just got it back from the shop.

They performed the following:
Fabricate and install flange to repair thumb ring
Remove + sliver braze 3rd slide brace
Chem Flush
Re-Shape Bell

Please notice the end cap on the thumb ring support is not original.

How would you describe the condition of the bell?
I'm having a hard time making it out with the glare.

I feel the pictures are a little misleading, the bell has been straightened from crinkles and has it's original lip shape. You can see that it was straightened in the bright light but up close it has the overall curve that it's supposed to have, even near the lip.
