Sparke, Clarke, and Bizet solos in Ithaca, NY/Fairfield, CT

Post by pgiampi1 »

I have a few solo performances with band coming up at the beginning of November:

Friday, November 4th - performing Harlequin by Philip Sparke with the Ithaca College Concert Band

Saturday, November 5th - performing H.L. Clarke's Carnival of Venice and Flower Song from Carmen by Georges Bizet with the Ithaca College Symphonic Band.

Both of those performances are at 8:15 in Ford Hall on the Ithaca College campus.

I will be performing Harlequin again the following Saturday, November 12, with the Connecticut Symphonic Winds. That performance is at 7:30 PM, Roger Ludlowe Middle School, Fairfield, CT.

Good luck Phil! I'll be sure to tell my friends at IC to attend!

Bump for the Saturday performance in Fairfield...

...also, here is a link to the video for the Saturday Nov. 5th performances of Flower Song and Carnival of Venice. Skip to the 23 minute mark or so if you want to get right to the euphonium playing:
