Post by Isuma »

Anybody got a recording??? This was the first tuba solo I ever played and I've got this itch fifteen years later to hear it! Can't find a recording anywhere!!!!

Thanks!

For Isuma, I don't know about a tuba recording, but I believe somewhere out there is a recording of Emmet's Lullaby, by Harold Brasch, the famous, now deceased, ex euphonium soloist of the US Navy Band. Perhaps the Navy Band, would have copies of it, if so you might be able to get a copy via the Navy Band, Public Affiars office, in Washington, D.C.. Good Luck, it would be worth the effort.

Arthur Lehman recorded it with The U.S. Marine Band. It was included in "The ART of the Euphonium." Published in the early 1970s by Robert Hoe, and later by the Tuba Press.
