I was recently drafted onto the Broadway Bach Ensemble. My first concert with them will be tomorrow performing Shostakovich's 9th symphony.

Shostakovich 9 is fun to play. I played bass trombone in this work with a local orchestra a few years ago. Have a good time performing this symphony. There are lots of solo passages for trumpet, horn, and bassoon that are exciting to listen to.
