I know this topic has been discussed before, but I am having difficulty find a previous post that I saw (or thought I saw) in the last year.
Is the RVW concerto a rental only, or is there an edition that can be purchased? I need the band parts, specifically.
Or, if someone does own the parts (perhaps an older version that may have, at one point, been purchased), would they consider a loan to West Chester University of Pennsylvania?
Thanks for any help in advance!
PS Renting isn't a problem either, I just wanted to make sure I had covered all possible avenues first.

You can buy the band version by Denis Wick through his website:

I LOVE playing this piece. BUT.... it's terrible with band. There are other, better pieces.

Find a better Band, IMHO. It's good arrangement, but you need a band that *GASP* knows how to play quietly.

The Dennis Wick band arrangement is available for purchase and seems to be far superior to the Hare band arrangement which is rental only.
