Bowling Green State University - Euph and Tuba openings

Post by Dave2ba »

Bowling Green State University will be holding auditions for undergraduate tuba and euphonium students starting in late January 2011. BGSU has a number of music talent scholarships available to those who meet both the application deadline and pass our audition. For more information please check out our website: http://www.bgsu.edu/colleges/music/pros ... index.html" target="_blank

BGSU currently has around 400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students in the College of Musical Arts. Due to recent matriculation rates, we are currently actively seeking talented Euphonium players to fill some additional vacancies. There are, however, vacancies and scholarships available in both tuba and euphonium. If you have any question's about the school, or are curious about anything else, please send me a personal message through Tubenet, Facebook or contact me through the school.

BGSU also has space available for graduate work ... for more information please look here:

Best of luck in the coming year!

A little bump on the post from my end...

I started my doctorate at BGSU this year and could not be any happier with the program. Professor Saltzman is such a wonderful musician, teacher, and a mentor and if you think I'm kidding, go grab a lesson with him. The rest of the brass faculty members are very inspiring as well and it's a good place to be for any serious students. Also, another plus is that BGSU is located within driving distance to many major cities like Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati. You can always find things to do around here. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the school!
