Chicken fried ribeye. Deep fried bacon, hot dogs, just about anything.

I lived through my first, and last, Deep Fried Twinkie at the California Casino on Fremont Street over the holidays. To say it was a tasty treat is an insult to taste everywhere, of which I have little, and less since this tasteless tasting of a supposedly tastfully done taste temptation. AND don't EVEN get me started on the buttermilk milkshake I saw that was made with a stick of real butter. Really, does that even sound appealing to those of you out there who search for this kind of stuff?

Deep-fried twinkies don't do anything for me. I'm partial to shrooms, zucchini, onion rings, potatoes, and a variety of meats deep fried.

Check out the deep fired asparagus at Marlow's.
