A little sprinkle of Lawrence Welk maybe? I mean you have the remedies to turn ‘Tuba makes the world go around’ in to a great musical skid.

If I could have two pretty gals sing along with me like Richard Maloof had, that would be outstanding!
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

That's me with my Yamaha YFB 621.
Oh, and that's Eric Ewazen with me after I performed the NYC Premier of his Tuba Concerto last weekend. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when he showed up.

Hey all, thought I would share this after month or so, but I finally was able to purchase my own tuba. Ended up buying the Chinese clone of the Mira 1291. I love the size of the horn as well as the huge open sound I get from the big bore size. I am going to be playing the first movement of the Gregson this March on this thing. I am been absolutely ecstatic.

This weekend at a brass band/New Orleans jazz gig.
And this is what happens when women see you with a tuba, really it is!

I'd love to find myself a uniform like that.

If there were just two or three more women on this board, you would be inundated with the words, "cute"..."precious"..."darling"...etc.

Likely true but I'm a little surprised those words made it through the filter and didn't get asterisked out. :D
