Linkage Help

Post by k001k47 »

Hallo Tubenet,

The screw that holds the linkage ball bearing to the stop arm broke at the threading on my 5th valve. It's an older bell model CC. They used the ball bearing linkages with the black screws; the 5th valve ball and black screw are a bit smaller. Does anyone have or know where I could get one of these screws?

First, I have to figure out how I'm going to get the stuck threaded rod out of the stop arm part. This is the second time something this has happened to me in the past couple of months. . . *sigh :x

If you can't find it anywhere else, and you know (or can determine) the thread size and length you need (or are prepared to cut it), you might try Brownells. They have a huge collection of screws and typically will just send something small like that in the mail. Good customer service as well.
