Uh, no, it is not a fact. 30 or so years ago everyone "agreed" that we were causing a "global cooling"... now it's "global warming"... The world just undergoes period of high temperatures and lower temperatures that are NOT caused by humans in any way. The primary and only cause for our global temperature is the amount of radiation that is being bombarded upon us by the SUN - which has it's own periods of higher and lower activity... Such as this year, the SUN is expected to switch its polarity (as it does every 11 years?), so we will be experiencing more sun spots and more natural effects will be felt.

If you look at research done with ice-core samples, it's been proven that temperatures during the medieval era were 15 or so degrees warmer than today. Then in the 17th or 18th century, temperatures were much colder than today.

The only things that we agree on today, is that we are polluting our atmosphere and destroying the environment at an accelerated rate. Besides, aren't we overdue for an iceage?

People who refer to global climate change as 'global warming' aren't very knowledgeable about it...this includes scientists, politicians, and (the worst offenders of all) journalists.

Global climate change does involve cooling. It also involves warming. Global climate change is occurring. It doesn't matter whether or not it is caused by people, because it is happening either way.
