Re: Possibly FS Rudy Meinl 4/4 CCI have played this horn... Charles was kind enough to meet me while I was on the road from Nashville to Kansas City, I had just sold my Gronitz and was looking into DP's RM-45. I knew Charles had a Rudy and I would basically be driving right through his town. We met up and I got to honk on it. Other than my issues with rotary valves (piston guy up until that point), I was shocked how easy it was to play. I agree 100% that it could give a Thor a run for its money. It convinced me to pick up DP's 45, and I have enjoyed it. I play weekly next to a PT-6 and it has no problems keeping up.

Re: Possibly FS Rudy Meinl 4/4 CCWell, it's been an interesting week... we received an unexpected check after re-financing our home, so Uncle Sam is now taken care of. There was an interested party for the Rudy... but I drug my feet to long... my wife then nixed the idea of selling the Rudy.... and has now re-considered...and I had pretty much decided to close everything down on selling it. Now I have (as of today) received notice of 2 Pro 2000's (both within driving distance, and no I'm not telling where they are), one of which I previously owned (Pre-Taiwan). So, I am bumping this up to the top one last time. If you are interested in the Rudy Meinl, please shoot me a PM.

Re: FS Rudy Meinl 4/4 CCThis is a very nice all around instrument... Hear it do its damage as the only tuba in a wind ensemble and in a quintet here...
