I hope to see some of you there!
I am not sure if I can get a live stream, but anyone who wants to get a recording I would be glad to send it to.

Any memorization requirements? Does your school require five, three with a lecture recital? Dissertation topic selected yet?
I have to do 4 recitals, one of which can be a lecture recital if I wish to. Memorization--no requirements, though I am going to do the DMA concerto competition and memorize pieces here and there...and also I think I have a document topic picked out...I don't have to worry about the big document for another couple of years (thank goodness).
Hope you are doing well Wade, send me a PM or e-mail sometime.
Doc, it went great, thanks for asking! I actually was sick and was running a fever prior to the recital, and the hot stage was an adventure! I still made music, which is the important thing.
I will send recordings to anyone who wants them, just send me an e-mail. I just ask you not to share. I haven't received the recordings yet...it is OSU (a large music school) with MANY recitals this quarter, most weekends have a total of 10-15 recitals, then weekday recitals, ensemble concerts, etc. With all these recitals, I figure it will be a month, maybe longer before I get to even hear it for myself, then I can give it.
The McLean was actually well received. There were even times my moaning sounds blended with the tape so well people thought it was part of the whale recordings on the tape. I had fun playing this recital and am now working on the 2nd recital...music by film composers
