Isn't kinda of funny that the indian brass manufacturing companies have done very little to improve their standards in the past 10 years or so? I have two tristar horns... even though they're made at different times, the quality is about the same. (pretty bad) These horns do sound *ok* with a decent mouthpiece, but i just consider them to be overpriced vuvuzelas.

For real, or are you guessing because you still do not have it?
No, I am k001k47. I play a Bill Bell tuba. It has a bell with a bill.

Now that I have everyone's attention, where can I get Meinl Weston linkage screws?

I'm sorry. Were you saying something?

Oh, yes. The screws. Keep a screwdriver in your pocket. It must be a very nice screwdriver. It must be sincere in its wish to drive screws.

Carry it with you to TMEA. Visit the M-W booth. Et voila!

"Sorry, but we don't use those screws anymore."
Is my fifth valve screwed? How long do you think this hairpin will hold it together? :?

I like the "cheap white plastic" ones. Let us have a heated debate full of circular logic and spite.

You're clearly wrong and stupid, because I'm right. It is the will of the president, nay, your entire country that you play nothing but white fiberglass sousaphones.
In all seriousness, I really do like those fiberglass sousaphones. They seem like something good to have when some moron in a pep band decides it's a good idea to use the horn as a drum.
...speaking of Indian instruments, what's the deal with those new cornets fashioned into vintage "Bessons" horns.
