I believe I saw that this Asian manufacturer is going back to the multi piece slides from the 1 piece slides they used to do...
Those 1 piece slides were a bunch of BS and made repair way worse...
I think I might end up as a grumpy old man when I get old...

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

IS there more than one high-priced Asian manufacturer? :|
It might be getting a little off-topic. But... I'm seeing some fairly high-prices attached to old names that originate in the same factories and the ones that have obvious Asian names.

For some reason... horns that bear brand names seem to be worth more... even if they are exactly the same as 'brand X'.

I have an Asian alto saxophone in here with a broken Bb/C 'pinky paddle'. The horn is branded Reynolds but obviously never saw the US except maybe to change the packaging.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
