Question about TE-2112
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this Tuba Exchange horn. It's priced right, which is what scares me. Thanks.

Re: Question about TE-2112
Hey, Chip. I am familiar with these tubas. The 2112 is very similar to a Miraphone 186, although the samples I've played don't quite have the same high level of fit and finish, obviously. It plays like a Miraphone 186; similar sound with a tight low range at low F and below.
IMO, the TE-2110, St. Petersburg 202-LD, St. Petersburg 202, and TE-1914 all played better than the 2112. I thought the 2110 was the best of the lot, but that could just be me.
