Redlands Pokorny Low Brass Seminar
I got to enjoy a really nice display of low brass playing tonight at the performance given by the Redlands Low Brass Ensemble (aka the Chicago Symphony Low Brass plus one) as part of the week long Univesity of Redlands Pokorny Low Brass Seminar. The players were Michael Mulcahy. Andrew Glendening and Sean Reusch on trombone, Randall Hawes on bass trombone and Gene Pokorny on tuba. They played:

That week was one of my greatest learning experiences. I highly recommend everybody try to attend this seminar at least once.

Re: Redlands Pokorny Low Brass Seminar
I would highly recommend this seminar to any trombone, bass trombone and tuba player. I attended this year and have been thoroughly inspired to continue my pursuit of making music a career. The recitals given were absolutely incredible and the educational information taken away from each master class was priceless. Feel free to pm me if you would like further details regarding the seminar. A big thank you to those who work their rear ends off to make this seminar happen.

I know I live in a vacuum, but what happened to Charlie and Jay?
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
