Hi Tubenet
Semi-shameless plug - I'm live video streaming the NZ National Band Championships this Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Starting 8:30am Friday (GMT + 12).
I'm also playing tuba (my lovely new Yamaha Neo BBb) with the mighty Footscray Yarraville City Band.
So if the times work for you - and you like/live brass bands, jump on and watch...If you don't enjoy brass bands, you'd better stay away.
If you are interested you can see it at http://www.brassbanned.com/live" target="_blank. Times displayed will be your own local times.
Happy Honking
Tim

Re: Brass Band Live stream - this weekend
Thanks! I didn't have much time to watch today (most of it is happening while I was sleeping here in Sweden, and then I had to be off to play 15th century music on trombone, which was great fun), but I liked what I saw (heard), and will return to it tomorrow.

Is there a simple way to record the live stream as it plays on my computer so I can watch it later ?

Thanks to those who watched...I hope you enjoyed.
I don't put recordings back online after, and it's deliberately not easy to record the stream - because there are all sorts of legal copyright issues that I would prefer to not be involved in.
In other news - my Neo BBb goes very amazingly well.
