Poulenc Double piano concerto

Post by Wyvern »

Has anyone played the Poulenc double piano concerto and can tell me what the tuba part is like, or better still has a PDF of the part they can send?

Thank you in advance!

As a matter of fact, I played it last night. A small but important part. It requires a lighter touch so use a bass tuba. The piece is rental only and my part is back in the library. It is not difficult but there are a couple of unexpected four note solos in the first movement.

Enjoy!

Its been a while, but I played on CC. Lots of sitting and counting rests. Be prepared to get the hand.
