Live Stream: Melbourne International Festival of Brass

Post by tubalux »

Hi Tubenet,

Another semi-shameless-but-relevant-plug;

Next week marks the 10th and final Melbourne International Festival of Brass (from Melbourne, Australia).

The line up is probably as good as any brass nerd could ever hope for:

Wycliffe Gordon
Mnozil Brass
Rex Richardson
Oystein Baadsvik
Radovan Vlatkovic
Stephen Mead
Australian Brass Quintet

Since most of you reading this are probably US-based, you'll be pleased to know that I'll be live streaming most of these performers next week, to http://www.brassbanned.com" target="_blank (which I haven't had a chance to update yet because I'm busy practicing tuba every day). Most concerts will be at either 4:30pm or 7:30pm (GMT +10). I'll also be getting a heap of interviews with all the famous people, talking about their favourite foods, favourite colours and find out who they think is going to win the AFL grand final.

Here's one of the concerts I live streamed last year - Tim Buzbee, Steve Rosse and Alex Hurst playing a Tuba Trio:

I'll keep you all updated. I know you can't wait.
