Sweet! Looks like a lot of work, and rather tasteful in a way. Wonder if they'll get their $4500 for it.

Think it's silver plated? To me, it looks like brass, other than the slides. The text seems a little garbled. The Spanish version mentions silver but seems to be saying either that there's silver in the red paint, or that that some silver went on top of the red paint, it isn't real clear to me what he's talking about. Maybe the slides are silver paint. What I think I would want is the red paint/lacquer/whatever over bare brass, the designs cut out to expose the brass, and then clear lacquer over the whole thing.
