Suite from Der Rosenkavalier

Playing this in Symphony Orchestra this semester, but won't get the music in for a couple of weeks. I saw on wikipedia it has a bass tuba part.

Anyone have any insight on what this part will consist of? Challenging? Also, is it really suited for a bass or can it be pulled of on my CC?

Played this many times. Always used CC. Would work fine on either. Fairly straightforward except for one nasty lick at the end. You'll know it when you see it. However, nothing a little practice won't knock out. Beautiful music but be prepared to sit through most of it. Enjoy,

The ending isn't really that bad, after a bit of practice (as Chris said). I can't remember a lot about the part (I played it on my CC) but I think it was better played on the CC.

I was given the euphonium part for an arrangement by "N. Nambuat" (a pseudonym). I am taking almost all down an octave. Nice sounding arrangement.
