Horn dorn

Post by Cameron Gates »

Two rare beasts getting warmed up in a Scranton, PA hotel room in anticipation of tonight's US Marine Band concert. Can you identify them and their original factory key (big clue there)? Also, which one of the players would you least like to have as a neighbor.

I think that's GySgt Christopher Tiedman on the left and SSgt Paul Mergen on the right? Not sure what make or model horn they're playing though. After all I'm a eupher. But, I'd be happy to take either one as my neighbor.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. What an eye.

Bloke, you hit it on the head about no room for the rotor on the Holton. Paul is going to look into getting a couple of long inner tubes for the 4th, knock out the sleeves, align, and pray. Sounds like a good idea to me.

A fifth valve was added to this 4 valve CC Holton. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... =1&theater
Outside of it making the pull a little short, there was plenty of room for the tubing.
