Euphonium Beginner Books

I have a niece that is just starting out on Euphonium (6th grade!). What are some great beginner books to help get her started? And what brand and size mouthpieces are good for beginners? Just the standards?

Most of the band teachers in my area use the Standards of Excellence series. I used it to learn clarinet, bassoon, and trombone. It's very simple and easy for even 4th graders to understand. They have three different levels of books, so your niece could progess through the same series. Hope this helps!
