Seriously, now...what did you expect us to say?

You can't (or won't) get a job and work and seem to (really???) think there is an out-of-the-box-non-job way to make $2500 in less than 30 days? That's $30k per year assuming that the $2500/mo was sustainable. Do you realize that there are plenty of people out here working full time jobs (and likely even some hours in excess of 40 per week) that don't even make that amount of money?

Just food for thought.

Why is it ok to give a kidney away and not sell one? The answer is why some people don't charge for lessons.

Boxes notwithstanding, I suspect that if we knew how to start with no money and end with an extra $2500 a month without working or converting something (a kidney?) to cash, we'd be doing that rather than reading TubeNet.

Also, it isn't obvious to me that going to high school is a barrier to working. I got my first restaurant job when I was 14, and still did fine in school.

Ain't going to happen. Get a job and be patient. When you are young, that's the hardest thing to do. But short of robbery, drugs, or prostitution, $2,500 per month ain't gonna happen.

Especially with so many unemployed adults who would love a $30k job right about now.

If we knew how to make that money legally and ethically, we would do it ourselves or we would sell the way to others and earn more.

Sidebar:
A friend of mine, a bass player, wanted to earn money than just teaching guitar and bass when we were undergrads. He wanted to buy himself a nice bass(25K) so he bought one of those $9.99 "Earn Thousands a month" ebooks off of eBay hoping he would make money. He realized that the guys who sell these make thousands of dollars each month by selling their product to people who think they can make a quick buck. the scene might have changed, but there's always someone who wants to make money quickly, right? My friend decided that he would still try to venture into internet marketing. (The eBooks try to teach you that you can create webpages that will earn thousands of dollars in revenue click through Google Adsense) He had reasonable knowledge of webdesign and set up a page selling sheet music. He use to sell the complete works of Bach on a DVD for $80 (This was before IMSLP, btw) He mad a pretty penny. He also sold some Fakebooks...(That could have gotten him in trouble, but it's down) At that point, he had been putting in several hours a day for the better part of a year but had learned a lot about web-design and SEO. He ended up getting a couple website contractes through acquaintances and family members and in his third year of working at it (while still a student) he was earning a full time pay (50k/year). Things just picked up from there and he's doing this full time now. He doesn't play much bass anymore, but he owns nice axes. He's living in southeast Asia, for the heck of it.

My point: People who really want to earn a money will find a way. They will talk to the right people, seek out the right info, and the right oppurtunity. The people on this board are not those people. Even if you want to earn money for a tuba(without getting a "job"), you are best to find people who have earned their money through other means.

If you're looking for business ideas, like selling mouthpieces or cokes, that's a different matter. I once visited with a guy who created a web site that works like Expedia or Orbitz, except for freight rather than passengers. He said one way to find good business ideas is to listen to what people complain about, and think of a way to fix one or two of those things. 98% of the time you'd have to become a magician or a therapist to handle those things. But some aggravations can be handled by a business.

On the other hand, if you're worried about taking time away from school and homework you'd most likely be ahead to just get a job.

Not that it's much of my business, but you already own two tubas... what do you need so much money for?

Out of the box: Go out into the wilderness and find a hidden cave full of gold, diamonds, etc. Dig dig dig, sell sell sell. There ya go

But seriously, I know people who had jobs in high school and they were in band as well and we rehearsed 3 days a week after school. It CAN be done. If you want something, you gotta work hard and be PATIENT. It took me like 2 years to get my first tuba and it was well worth the wait. Good luck! :tuba:

The sales idea is a good one, selling water outside the ballpark on a hot day those guys earn sometimes $100 or more. Buy the case at $3.99, a $1 a bottle gets you back $24. Obviously out of season right now, so you need a Christmas inspired item. The Pet Rock sold big. Think along those lines.
