I am trying to help a friend out and these bags have changed since I was at WWBW. Could someone point me at the best fitting Gard bag (or other not too expensive gig bag) for the model 202N St Petersburg? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to you all.

Re: Best Gard bag for St Petersburg 202N?
Hi Roger,
The St. Pete web site lists a 202LD with an 18" Bell and a 202N with a 16" bell size. Both are 37" tall. However, when I owned a St. Pete, it was the large bell version with the 18" Bell, but the Horn was clearly marked 202N on the bell with no other indication that it was the large bell verson. That 2" different in bell size might make a big difference in what bag the horn can fit in. Also, I was at Tuba Exchange with the horn on one occasion and found that the 18" in bell did not fit in some of the hard cases, so if by chance you have the larger bell version it could be a tight fit on the fit at the bell rim. Good luck with finding a case have a joyful holliday season.

Have you contacted Vince? Nothing fits like a bag actually made for the horn. They're decent bags, constructed and padded well. Mine (186 detachable with a retrofit St Pete 16 1/2 inch bell) has seen a lot of use and still keeps going.
