Ignore the silly music...
Does this seem a sturdy enough case to you guys? I'm not an expert, but it looks fine to me except that I'm a little worried about the lack of space between the bell and the side of the case.
Would this be a good flightcase?

Re: Would this be a good flightcase?
without knowing the actual construction materials, it looks decent. I would suggest filling the extra space with air pillows--the super-gigantic bubble wrap looking stuff--and bubblewrap around the bag (containing the horn). That won't add much weight and will give an extra measure of padding.
What is the weight of the case alone? what's the weight of the tuba and the bag? Those all together need to be considered for airllines.
good luck.

Re: Would this be a good flightcase?
Thanks for great answers! Although I'm mainly looking for a case that can handle a lot of travel by bus, I will immediatly remove it from my list of possible candidates
Speaking of cases, do I have to own a Meinl W/B&S-tuba to get my hands on of their red flightcases? A friend of mine (that has the JBL f-tuba) has one and he appreciates it deeply.
