Meinl-Weston bought out?

Post by tuneitup »

Did anyone hear that Meinl-Weston was purchased by Buffet/Crampon? Can anyone verify this, or is it just a rumor?

Interestingly enough, Meinl-Weston is a "brand" of B&S. :)

B&S was purchased after the reunification, yes, by the group that became Wenzel Meinl Gmbh.

But, the press release says things in such a way that it DOES seem B&S is the parent
B&S has 250 employees and its four brands, B&S, Melton/Meinl-Weston, Hans Hoyer and J.Scherzer, are sold all over the world.
It's sort of confusing, isn't it? make that...VERY confusing.
