Can anyone clarify:

Under the solos section: There appears to be 2 Bach solos. Is that correct? Or is the Partita requested located in the Bobo Bach for solo tuba book?

That's incorrect. Only one Bach solo from the Bobo book it's the "Corrente" from the D minor parita (Originally in A minor). It's found on pages 28-30 of: Bach for the Tuba Volume II, compiled & arranged by Douglas Bixby, edited by Roger Bobo édition Western International Music pages

Must be played on CC tuba.

Gene and others have demonstrated time and time again that "anything" can be played on CC/BBb, including Bydlo in a pinch (pun unintended).

Nevertheless, referring to the MSO repertoire list, is CC the most common choice for performing Till Eulenspiegel?

One could also add that several others (John Fletcher and Patrick Harrild) have demonstrated that EEb can be used for most rep too.

I also forgot mention Nick Atkinson, of the NACO*, who's actually played with the OSM several times.

*Arguably, the NACO is probably the only orchestral position in Canada that *might* be better than the OSM. As both cities are less than 2 hours apart, subbing opportunities exist. (The 52 week Contract of the NACO is appealing, so are all the Brass Quintet gigs in a very busy city like Ottawa, but the cost of living is higher and there are less teaching opportunities)

Thanks, Aubrey. That is interesting to see.

Anybody who can make it through those three lists is on top of their game!
