You need to remember the rule of thumb for a band: "The closer you are to the director the less fun it is...."

Listening to one piccolo is more painful than carrying all of those tubas at once.

I wonder how long-time piccolo players have not ground their inner-ear bones into powder.

Q: How do you make two piccolo players play in tune?
A: Shoot an oboe player. It won't help, but it makes the situation more bearable.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
