E. Power Biggs and the Columbia Brass & Percussion Ensemble

Post by hbcrandy »

I have an LP that I think was recorded in the 1960's, E. Power Biggs / Columbia Brass And Percussion Ensemble, Conducted By Maurice Peress - Campra*, Clarke*, Dupré*, Gigout*, Karg-Elert*, Purcell*, R. Strauss*, Widor* ‎– Music For Organ, Brass And Percussion.

On the back of the album cover is a photo, of poor resolution, showing the entire group. There are 2 tuba players in the photo. One resembles Harvey Phillips. The other looks like a bald version of Walter Sear.

Who are these tuba players?
